Rhetoric?
You may be asking yourself what is Rhetoric and why is it so important? Believe me I asked myself the same question before I took this class. Hopefully you'll have a better understanding after reading this.

Rhetoric? What is it? This is a question that is on the mind of most novice EWM majors. Some people may say that it is a form of persuasive communication, or that it is the use of language that is used to persuade someone. It could also be a way to change attitudes, beliefs and opinions. Rhetoric is all of these defininitons and more. You pick which one you like best. Throughout this magazine you will be learning about the three schools of thought in the Greek Trilogy (The Sophists, Platonics, and The Aristelians) and some important people who helped shape rhetoric and these schools of thought. You may not know anything about these schools now but by the end of this magazine you will surely know something! Enjoy!
