share three of their favourite
catwalk trends for this summer
(and even some you can try

VINTAGE - OK, we get it. Most
of our wardrobe could easily
be vintage, given the fact that
we all have those wardrobe
favourites that we simply can't
bear to give up! However, if
we are talking fashion trends,
then retro styling is back. Last
season it was the '70's, and
now it's the '80's.
So how do you translate this
look to your riding wear? We'd
say go for pretty pastels and
prints
and
concentrate
on
taking advantage of the big
'80's trend of emphasising the
waist. Choose bling belts to
team with your breeches for a
hot to trot look.
For life away from the horse,
pick statement jewellery pieces
and soft tailoring. Easy to
wear and dress up or down,
this '80's trend doesn't have
to be all Duran Duran, you
can tone it down to make this
look wearable without it being
fancydress!

'ladylike' more than a pencil
skirt, and these are HUGE for
the,summer.

and
gorgeous to wear with heels,
boots, brogues or sandals we're
in love with the tailored tweed
versions of these. Choose pretty
pastel tones for a summer
feel and team with lace for a
gorgeous feminine take on this
timeless classic.
DENIM DELIGHTS Yes, your
favourite pair of denim jeans
are back on trend (were they
ever out we ask?)
Wear the double denim look
for maximum fashion styling
marks or, if you're not feeling
hugely brave, keep an eye
out for denim dresses and
denim tailoring. Wear this look
brilliantly as casual or dress it
up with heels and a handbag
for a look which is set to stay.
Oh, and dark denim is the
big blues story here. Keep an
eye out for denim breeches to
ensure your riding wear keeps
pace with the fashionistas.
