BETA – or , to use its full title , the British Equestrian Trade Association – sits at the heart of the equestrian industry , representing 800 members and working for the rights of consumers while promoting rider safety and equine wellbeing .
The organisation is highly regarded in the world of equestrianism , where it liaises with many of the leading riding disciplines and national bodies such as the British Equestrian Federation and Sport England . It also lobbies at government level and is regarded as a voice of authority on a wide range of subjects .
Its distinctive horse ' s head logo , stamps , and assurance marks are widely recognised and unwaveringly trusted . They are tangible and highly visible signs , underpinned by BETA ' s professionalism and expertise , allowing horse owners to shop or ride with confidence .
