Feeding for Condition and Shine with Mollichaff
Any successful show horse or pony should have a natural bloom to its coat and be in perfect condition . Soya oil is a great way to promote weight gain as it is high in calories and is rich in Omega 6 fatty acids for a healthy coat and skin , but provides slow release , non-heating energy .
MolliChaff ShowShine is a highoil chaff for ultimate show condition . Suitable for all horses and ponies , the cherry flavouring provides a delicious taste and smell to ensure it is highly palatable for even the fussiest of eaters . It is made from the highest quality oat straw that has been chopped and dust extracted , and it is naturally high in fibre .
To give extra bloom to the coat and that added condition required for show horses and ponies , or poor doers , the feed contains a unique coating which combines high levels of soya oil with low sugar molasses . Limestone is also added to provide additional calcium for healthy growth and stronger bones .
If you prefer a complete feed , try Mollichaff Condition - a highly digestible , high fibre , high oil and low starch mix , which can be fed as a complete concentrate feed alongside good quality forage . It contains a balanced blend of alfalfa , dried grass , oat straw , fibre pellets , barley , soya flakes , soya oil and mint as well as Yeasacc ® and a prebiotic , plus vitamins , minerals and trace elements . Yea-sacc ® and a prebiotic help maintain a healthy digestive system , along with mint , which is particularly palatable to horses .
