Crofton Manor Equestrain Centre in Hampshire, ran a Halloween Showjumping Seniors competition, running consecutively from the 1st to the 3rd of November 2013.

Classes ran from British 1m to 1m40. Stuart Harvey was the winner of the Winter B and C qualifier with Wiranta, and Nicole Pavitt lead the Winter Grade C with Contess. She also took another two places out of five in the class! Jay Hallem won the 1.30 with Goodman for Fun II and the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice class was won by Jade Vaughan riding Daingeann Magic Man.

The Morris Equestrian Center, based in Ayrshire, ran the Adult British Show Jumping Championships from the 8th to the 10th November. James Smith and Cumina were on top form, with a recent win there in the Dodson and Horrell World Class Program U23 British Championship Qualifier.

Tracey Sharp is back to form with LA CHICA DE ROSA after a short break from her HOYs debut in the Search for a Star Working Hunter final, where they placed 2nd. The pair led the Blue Chip Discovery qualifier at Kingswood EC in Staffordshire.

Internationally, Scott Brash MBE was 2nd in the third leg of the Longines FEI World Cup in Verona Italy. The class was led by the German rider Christian Ahlmann with Aragon Z. The track was big and technical, built by Italy’s Uliano Vezzani and gave them ‘plenty to think about’. Scott was the only Brit in the line and says he fully intends to jump in April's final.

Looking furthur back, Bury Farm hosted the All Stars Championship which was broadcast on Horse & Country TV and Sky Sports. Bury Farm Equestrian Club in Buckinghamshire holds the show once a year, with a total prize fund of £25,000 - one of the highlights on the final evening of the competition. The aptly named GALA evening hosts the Grand Prix final (this year Sponsored by The Penthouse No.1 & Electric Social Club) which saw the 600 seat stadium full. With a full star line up including Laura Renwick, Guy Williams and Ben Maher competing during Friday evenings activites, it was set to be an amazing evening.

The biggest round by far was the £9,000 All Stars Grand Prix, which saw some of the UK's top riders compete. 'Speed Queen' Laura Renwick rode to victory riding David Perry's horse, Louis Do Daymon Z. The Jump off was down to only four, and Laura certainly wowed the crowds with her amazing round despite being last in. You can watch the round and final results below...
