Mont St Michel is UNESCO world
heritage site that welcomes more than
three million visitors a year. It is an
island during high tide, and can be
reached via the isthmus which links to
the mainland during low tide.

In June 1944 the Western Allies landed
on the Norman beaches initiating an
effort to liberate mainland Europe from
Nazi occupation during World War II.
The landings took place along a 80 km
stretch of the Normandy coast divided
into five sectors: Utah, Omaha, Gold,
Juno and Sword.

For over 1000 a years men, women and
children travelled there by roads called
"paths to paradise” along the route of
the
pilgrimage
to
Santiago
de
Compostella.
Tours can also be adapted to suit
personal taste or interest and can be
extended to cover up to 3 days.
