Laser Technology
LASER is an abbreviation to light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. To make a laser beam, all you need to do is give a huge collection of atoms enough energy to excite them in order to omit light. Once one of them spontaneously emits a photon, it will stimulate all others to do so. But instead of letting the light beam escape, we trap it between two mirrors of different types to let it bounce back and forth through the atoms. This will stimulate most of the atoms to emit photons that would resemble the stimulating photon in intensity and direction. Finally, you we can open a small hole in one of the mirror to let one single coherent stream of photons which is a laser beam.
