Baby Shower

o you want to know the way to an expectant
mama’s heart? Well, it’s treating her like a royalty and feeding her delicious treats with just the
right mix of sugar and spices. Celebrate the mother-to-be in your life with a “Sugar and Spice” theme
shower just in time for baby’s arrival. We styled this
popular theme with chic florals and chalkboard elements for a fun twist.
We were inspired by this classic and sweet scalloped
baby shower invitation from Tiny Prints. The invitation is adorned with the popular phrase, “Sugar and
Spice and Everything Nice” which is perfect theme
for baby girls. I thought it would be fun to play on
those words and sprinkle in baking and cooking elements in throughout our design.  You will see hints
of the theme as scroll through the photos from this
beautiful shower.
We used a clean and simple tablescape design. As
a lover of all things florals, we layered in a runner
with a floral print plus a gorgeous garland of beautiful florals to add a pop of color to the center of
our table.  Each guest’s setting included a textured
platinum charger, spotted patterned dining plate,
and a set of beautiful aqua and blush pink dinner
napkins. We loved sneaking in a few of the baking
elements with our flour pot name cards and chalkboard styled menus that compliment the invitation.
To add the final detail, we created a beautiful yet
simple backdrop of our letter mylar balloons to spell
o ut the word “Baby”, which you can find our shop.
