Tips for the Autumn months: Uneasy about going outside due to flighty weather, and potential of maybe catching the flu? Looking for ways to be more comfortable during these Fall months? We've listed out some useful tips on staying healthy and comfy, regardless of the cool Autumn weather.

Take an umbrella around with you, to prevent being soaked by an unannouced rain shower: Getting wet = Getting cold = The Flu.

Don't be afraid to ask for help - lean on your signifigant other or family members if you get too tired for chore or errands.

Make sure to always keep a nice warm cardigan/sweater or light jacket with you, just in case it gets chilly.

Keep your calendar clear - don't do anything you don't need too.

Take advantage of the season's fruit and veg. Enjoy a delicious and healthy pumpkin soup, or a (caffeine free) hot fiber-filled apple beverage.

Plan some "me" time - Get a mani/pedi, take a nice bubble bath, or treat yourself to a massage.

Get loads of sleep. Make use of the shorter daylight hours by takting more naps and getting to bed earlier.

With Halloween, Thanksgiving, & the preparations for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa, it can be a taxing & stressful time for the pregnant body. Here's how to prevent running yourself ragged.

Have your kids and/or other family members help with certain preparations & decorating.

Keep your priorities straight. Do you HAVE to decorate the lawn this year with jack-o-lanterns?

Always expect a certain amount of stress, but plan ahead to keep it at a minimum.

Arrange parties and holiday dinners at another person's house this year, just agree to be a part of planning & prep.

Keep with your holiday traditions, only find ways to make them easy and enjoyable for you.

Stock up with extra Halloween candies & frozen appetizers for surprise guests.

And last but not least, take a break enjoy yourself!
