The autumn is coming. And while it is a charming season, filled crisp fresh air, stunning scenery, & pumpkin treats, it can always be slightly saddening at the end of summer. With vacations coming to an end & chilly weather approaching, the hectic September back-to-school schedule is upon us. But why shake off that cheery, upbeat stance you've had all summer? Here are 4 ways to help you keep that thriving summer mindset throughout the fall.

Prepare yourself for the oncoming flu season.

Start prepping yourself now, because someone in your family will get sick. You can't avoid it, especially for those with kids. To combat any unwanted sicknesses, keep a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and get lots of sleep. Try to get lots of fresh air and sun, and find a good solid way to keep your stress levels down. Stress is damaging to the immune system, and makes it more likely that you'll end up sick.

Don't overburden yourself.

Yes, everything seems to start simultaneously, but you don't have do everything at once. To manage everything efficiently, add activities to you schedule week by week, and avoiding dawdling about. Thus, the fall workload won't hit you all at the same time, and you'll have time to adapt and have fun.

Staying to a breezy, positive state of mind maybe a lot easier during the summer, but the fall can be just as lovely. Enjoy your time with family and friends, watching the seasons change. Keeping your family and yourself jovial and well is simple with the right mindset. Just have fun with it!

Stay committed to your summer health goals.

If you'd set goals to stick to a new workout plan, eating healthier, or losing 15 pounds during the summer, stick to them! Just because the Autumn arrived doesn't mean you should give up on what you've worked so hard on. Yep, you're probably a lot busier then you were during the summer, but pledge to yourself you'll stick to your goals for at least a few more months. Take 10 minutes a few times during the day to stretch and breath. It'll help you keep a clear mind, and focus on the rest of the day's activities. Just think how great you'll feel this holiday season know you've been staying committed to your health all Fall.

Task yourself with controlling your mornings.

Your mornings can be deciding factor to having a good or bad day. Wake up with a crisp glass of cold water, or a hot green tea. Do some awakening stretches, and some meditative stretches. Take take of both your mental and physical health before the day cranks up into craziness time. Don't ruin the flow of your day with tv and doughnuts!
