Hi Friends,
We hope that you had a great summer and that you’re gearing up for the Fall season! Jim, myself and our kids snuck some fun times in between getting ready for our next event the Every Little Thing! Birth & Beyond Expo & Festival on November 8- see here for more details.! Jim and I even got to go on a date thanks to the hospitality of Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament here in Orlando. As our entertainment partners we actually got to savor the whole experience starting with a guided tour of their historical museum (- who knew this was even here!) through to the majestic battles and amazing horsemanship! We came out with no voices left from cheering on our Knight- who won by the way!
We also got together with some great friends from our wonderful community to show and share our support for World Breastfeeding Month and did a photo shoot. Despite nursing 7 babies I have never had a photo taken, or been really public about it so my BFF Andrea Price convinced me to join in on our community photo shoot and I loved it and felt liberated! Check out the fun here!
We’re now about to celebrate International Babywearing Weak (4th-10th October) so we have a visual treat for you in our Babywearing segment. The uber talented photographer Lee Anne Roquemore shares with us how multi-functional, cool and comfortable wearing your baby is; if you haven’t tried it yet then you’ll be yearning too after seeing these stunning and inspirational pics! Click here.
Of course this issue wouldn’t be complete without Halloween and Thanksgiving recipes to die for, crafty ideas to share with your family and healthy ways to prepare for the flu season and so much more!

All this while we potty trained our youngest who just turned two- all it took was a Ninja Turtle Potty seat- and he finally learned to sleep through the night! Talking of which, our sleep expert Shana Del Castillo has 6 great sleep tips in this issue and Heather Steiger gets us all practicing the right methods to ensure our children are getting the most out of bedtime reading before they go back to school.
We are also happy to announce that we are bringing the magazine alive with our first Every Little Thing! Birth & Beyond Expo & Festival on November 8th in Winter Park, Orlando. We already have amazing entertainment lined up as well as fab workshops and demos, dynamic and interesting vendors and exhibitors and stunning giveaways. There will be a special limited number of free tickets online so click here for details.
Remember to check out our Facebook and Twitter feeds for some fantastic summer giveaways and keep sending your children’s terrific art for us to share in our “Junior Artists Spotlight”, until Fall… have a wonderful summer!
