Can’t find what you’re looking for? - ask the suppliers you already
have. They may have it already or be willing to source it for you. If
not, they may know someone that can. There are lots of great suppliers out there so use them to their full potential.
Check whether or not delivery is included. Even bands and caterers
often charge mileage.
Ask friends and family to help. They are all eager to get involved and
some of them are more talented than you realise. Having handmade
items gives your day that extra personal touch and can be a great
chance for the two families or different groups of friends to get to
know each other a bit better before the day. Anyone who’s involved in
the day will feel a great sense of pride that they helped out.
As above, do it your way. Everybody says it but it’s your day and you
shouldn’t feel any pressure to conform. Express yourselves and your
personalities and you won’t regret it.
And finally, relax. Enjoy the day. There is no need to feel nervous or
anxious, everyone there loves you and wants you to be happy. Appoint someone else to deal with any problems and just enjoy it.
