Naomi’s Column
Well, hello there! I can’t quite believe that it’s the summer again. This year is
going far too quickly for my liking, and we still have so much to do. I’d like to
start this column by thanking everyone who attended, and supported The Bris-
tol and Somerset Wedding Awards again this year. Our annual fundraiser was
once again a great success, pulling in £1,898.39 for the charity. The awards are
particularly close to our hearts as they allow us to celebrate our own volunteers
and champions, as well as the cream of the local wedding industry. However,
that’s not all we’ve been up to during this last few months...

Graham and I are feeling a little worse for wear the morning after attending a
charity ball held at the Deer Park Hotel in Honiton. Organised and hosted by
our dear friend Frances Keene the evening was absolutely brilliant, and once
again raised much-needed funds for The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation.
We’ll let you know the total as soon as it’s been counted up and verified! We
are also excited to attend The Wedding Show at the St. Mellion International
Resort on the 22nd April. We were recently announced as the venue’s charity
of the year, and will receive donations made during a fantastic competition to
win a House of Fraser hamper worth £1,000. We hope to see some of you there!
We have a favour to ask of you all this month, and it’s really not a huge one at
all. One of our latest couples, comprising the equally beautiful Reign and Leigh,
desperately needs your help if they’re to achieve the day of their dreams on 30th
May this year. Both of these gorgeous brides are affected by chronic conditions,
