AMY & NATHAN Real Wedding Stories from Wedding Photographer Lee Elliott old Jolly Farmer! I bumped into Na- than there who thought I wanted a drunk snog but turned him down and told him to be a gentleman and take me on a date. A week later we went on our first date at The Barn Owl and never left each other’s side since! We met as teenagers through my brother who was friends with Na- than at school. Like many friendships at that age, you lose touch when you leave school and that’s when we went separate ways. Over the years we found each other on Facebook and got to virtually know each other. Nathan wasn’t a huge Face- book updater but I was constantly up- dating my life events and what I had for dinner! At the time I was living in Wales with my daughter, Nesta (4 at the time), but then moved back home (Devon) in 2012. On the 26th April 2014 I went to Tuckers Malting Beer Festival with some friends then ended up in good In October 2015, Nathan whisked me off to Paris with Nesta’s blessing. On our first night Nathan took me for a glam meal and wine, then walked me to lovelock bridge and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. This was potentially the single most romantic act he has ever fulfilled and completely blew me away. By the time we were home the colour scheme, bridesmaid and venue were booked! I was in my last year of University and working full time so we decided to plan and book everything straight away then I could focus on my degree. We then had about a year of nothing to do as all the wedding was planned and booked! Time crept upon us and the final few months were exciting finalising everything. Nathan had 1 job, the in- vitations, which sadly he couldn’t cope
