a fantastic double bill of new music.‘ Frozen By Sight’ sees Mercury prize nominees paul Smith( Maximo park) and peter Brewis( Field Music) collaborate on music based around Smith’ s travel writing.‘ Barographic’ is the culmination of Ed carter’ s mechanical composition installation within Sage Gateshead, which created graphic scores by recording the venue’ s atmospheric pressure.
