Dan Lipinski
The Honorable Daniel Lipinski represented Illinois ’ Third District in the U . S . House of Representatives from 2005 to 2021 . He was known as a highly knowledgeable and effective lawmaker who worked in a bipartisan manner to author 20 laws in a wide variety of issue areas . Rep . Lipinski served as the Democratic cochair of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus and the International Religious Freedom Caucus . He was previously an assistant professor of Political Science ( Notre Dame and Tennessee ) after earning his Ph . D . in American Politics from Duke University . Dan is currently President of Lipinski Solutions , LLC , a consulting firm . He is the author of Congressional Communication and has recently published articles in First Things , America , Public Discourse , and The Atlantic , as well as op-eds in the Wall Street Journal , Washington Post , and Chicago Tribune , and a book chapter in Under the Iron Dome .
