Brule River Wedding & Event Center
Their daughter, Amanda, who grew up on the
land, always said that she wanted to be married
on the beautiful and idyllic family property. When
Amanda got engaged in December of 2011, the family
had to kick it into high gear to prepare for her big
day in July 2012.
Kirk, the owner of Brule River Builders, had lots
of equipment and materials stored in the 80 year
old barn. So cleaning that out was the first step.
Massive renovations inside and out were completed
in time for Amanda’s dream wedding to take place.
Jill, always a gardener, had also added many flower
beds, ponds, and fixtures over the years.
Guests were astonished at how perfect the site
was for a wedding and reception. After Amanda’s
wedding, friends and family encouraged the
