Blondes have more fun, right? Try out this Blonde Bloody Mary at your next shindig.
Blonde Bloody Mary
4 1/2 pounds yellow tomatoes, diced
1 cup vodka
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Tabasco
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
Ice
12 celery sticks
An original concoction brings the
opportunity to spread a color theme into
the bar area. At events of all kinds, it is
possible to serve a signature drink in lieu
of offering an entire bar to save money.
Working in batches, puree the tomatoes in a blender or food processor until smooth. Over a bowl, strain the
tomato puree through a fine filter. Add the vodka, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco
to the strained puree and season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into a pitcher and refrigerate until
chilled, about 2 hours. Serve over ice. This mix can also be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
Any kind of Bloody Mary deserves appropriate garnishing. Grilling and skewer season is among us so why not
