What the Pros Know
Tracy’s Tip:
Delegating
One of the things I’ve
learned over the years is
that it’s a lot more stressful
if you try to do absolutely
every little detail yourself
when you are
planning an event.
There are
opportunities to do
a little delegating regardless of
what you are planning.
Let’s face it, you want to enjoy
the event too and it’s hard if you
are managing every
miniscule detail so…
here’s my advice:

DELEGATING
can be a good thing.
Make a checklist of who is
doing what and when they are
doing it, then keep tabs. It’s easier
to keep track and saves you some
running and time. However, make
sure those who you delegate to
are people that you can depend
on and won’t do the task in a way
you wouldn’t.
Many people WANT to help and
can contribute something even if
it’s small like a few bags of chips
or bottles of soda or wine. Make
wise choices of who you let help
and it will make your life easier.
Delegating gives you
more time, makes
those that help feel
like they are
contributing, and
just makes for a
much more
