ADOPT-A-GATOR
With Alligator Experience

This experience for four working alongside professional
biologists for a day of alligator research will include catching and
sampling Kiawah Island’s adult alligators. You will have the opportunity
to observe and help with collection and sampling methods employed
by the biologists to safely catch and handle these large, cold blooded,
predatory reptiles. In addition to working with the biologists, you will
have the opportunity to obtain an up close and personal picture with
an alligator of your choosing, along with an original handwritten data
sheet for the animal.

With this symbolic adoption, the winner will receive a plush
alligator and adoption certificate for one of Kiawah’s newest residents - a
2015 alligator hatchling.
