After the ceremony , guests were cooled down with refreshing G & Ts , Pimms and bubbly ( of course .) Acoustic guitarist , Gerry Liberty , serenaded the crowd and created a very chilled atmosphere as guests enjoyed the abundance of delicious snacks prepared by the venue ’ s chef . To follow the bridal couple ’ s vision of an unpretentious and relaxed , yet elegant , setting we combined a variety of textures , wood and metallics . The Rose Gold Xavier chairs placed around the wooden cafe tables , and pallet day beds placed strategically on the lawn created the perfect match .
We switched things up a bit with the reception venue - from a relaxed predinner style to something more soft and romantic , with hints of rose gold and blush . We suspended geometric light features with greenery from the ceiling to add to the romantic atmosphere . The overall look and feel was simply stunning and truly romantic . The evening flowed perfectly ( and so did the wine ), with the most heartfelt speeches and toasts , incredible gourmet food served and top notch service . Once all the formalities were done , guests were itching to get onto the dancefloor after one of the most romantic first dance we ’ ve ever since .
While there was a bit of rain during the afternoon , Mother Nature declined her invitation to the wedding . The weather was perfect , the bride was breathtaking , the couple was simply magic and their big day was a huge success . Thank you to our suppliers for all your hard work . And a special thanks to Misty and Alan for making our jobs an absolute pleasure . Wishing them many happy , healthy years together !
