If you have weighed your options just like me and realized that you cannot afford it, I would gladly welcome you to my staycation side of the world this summer, it should be fun if you plan it like I have. These are my staycation fun ideas this summer.

Backyard pool

My husband and I have invested in an intex backyard pool and a salty water pump system with it. Altogether five hundred dollar including little pool accessories. Since this pool can carry up to ten adults we have given out invitations to three pool barbecue afternoons at our place this summer plus when it gets extremely hot we can just jump into the pool and cool down anytime we are home. The pool lasts two to three years while the pump has a twenty year life span. Cool investment right?

Mountain Camping

We have camping equipment, I believe many people do, we have planned three camping weekends with our friends and their children, and I am convinced this is going to be fun for all of us.

Charity walks and runs

We have registered for two charity run with less than one hundred dollars each. We love being outdoors and staying active so this should make our bodies feeling very very happy. As you can see I already have eight weeks of my summer planned for with a budget that is absolutely under a thousand dollars. The remaining four weekends we can go watch Harry Potter at the park or even have our wife husband time at our backyard pool, who knows? But whatever the case we are going to have a splendid summer and a breathtaking staycation, hope you do too. Happy warm days!!!.
