you might have to get rid of everyone around you to make changes. If people don't want to be your cheerleaders they need to get out of your life because as long as you are not hurting anyone or yourself ,whatever it is that you want to do, should be okay to move forward in your life. One of the biggest heroes in my life was my grandmother "Erminie Battis" who was my step Grandmother. I was very close with her and I would listen to how she would deal with things in life and gained a lot of success from learning everything on her own. When you learn that from someone that you're close , you trust in their ways. You see how balance they are in their lives and they would take things with a grain of salt instead of letting every little thing bother them... that's a hero to me in my life. She taught me so many wonderful ways on simplifying things. She was not stupid about how she knew who was really kidding and who really wasn't. She didn't say too much. She would not react to drama which is the way I became because when you let too much drama in your life get to you and you feed into it, don't let it absorb you. It takes away from the good karma that you want in your life. If there's was anything I would've change, I would've been to have been brought up in a household that had both parents. There to has to be that sounding board of a healthy environment to guide you instead of doing it later on in life . It helped me to be a better parent to instill good guidance to my own daughter in being the best you can be in schooling even though I did it later on in life. I still did alot of college work and even though I don't do it for work, that is the paralegal field, I still use it in my own life. Knowledge is power. All the people out there that have been to school and feel as though it was a lost cause and you don't end up doing that in your life, it was put in your life for another reason... Look at it as a good way to find the thing you want, so you can always make that negative into a positive if you put your mind to it. I'm so thankful for that I am a very strong person, mind wise and independent. I've been through a lot in life but it's made me stronger. I can deal with anything because of the things I've been through which have had been some pretty big obstacles. Some people have said to me “How could you even, ever do what you do and gone through what you go through. I can never do it.” and I said “Yes you can”. You have to have the will to know that you have strength even if no one around you is helping you or being supportive. “You have to move forward.” A lot of things in life give you experiences and what you do with those experiences is what makes your life what it is. It's important to have strength and know that soon things will pass if they are bad things in your life, unless you hang onto them and never let go. My future goals are to finish my book of the wonderful people I've interviewed on my Show "Moving Forward With Andrea" from all over the world & continue my show by helping people be the best thing they can be by m
