SKILL 35: USE THE CORRECT TENSE WITH TIME EXPRESSIONS
You can find different expressions of time and times used with them, as well as
detailing continuation. The time expressions after, before and when are used to
indicate when something happens in the past, present or future. Each is
a subordinating conjunction which introduces a dependent clause and can be used at
the beginning or in the middle of a sentence.
These expressions can be commonly used with past perfect, simple past and present
perfect.
