NEW BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST FOR INDIE POP ARTIST
"GG", formally known as Gabriela Gregory, was the artist we created for our different products.
This required various different steps of success. GG herself has decided to answer some of the publics questions about the process of creating a song, a video and a profile for herself.
Interviewer: Hi GG, good to finally speak about your music in person.
GG: Thank you for having me.
Interviewer: So GG how did you create "Dancing On My Own?"
GG: As a group/musical creators, Aseel and I decided to use Callum Scott's song. We went into our school's recording studio and recorded our song in only one take. We then fidled with different filter such as a compressor to perfect the voice.
Interviewer: Oh wow, so you then decided to create a music video, how did you come up with the idea?
GG: We decided to fit with the Indie conventions, so we stuck with a heartbreaking love story. You, see me, the artist in a more raw version of myself. This music video talks about health issues such as depression and a smoking addiction. We also decided to keep the male character's fate vague, since it isn't shown what happens to him and why my character is so heartbroken from not having him around.
Interviewer: Oh wow, what a plot, i see there are various themes aswell, would you like to explain them?
GG: Our main theme is obviously depression and heartbreak. However we also show the thought of letting go. This is done through the use of a balloon. Despite the vagueness of some of the themes such as death and pregnancy/miscarriage. This is done by the abesence of the male character throughout and the strangling of the pillow.
Interviewer: I'm sure most of us hadn't realized these different themes until now, you girls, really thought this though. So what are you expecting for you as an artist GG?
GG: Since, my album release, I've been on tour, which has been incredible. Unfortunetly it's coming to an end but as soon as it does, i'll be heading back to the studio to record my second album.
