Nine to Watch This Summer
It’s not unusual for a few of the projects we are involved with to be hosting tournaments on the professional tours, but this year is pretty unique with nine venues with which we are working staging events on the European Tour, European Senior Tour and LPGA Tour. From Morgado G&CC in Portugal, which is hosting its first ever event, to tour regulars such as Le Golf National, The West Course at Wentworth and Evian Resort, we’re delighted to be involved in each one and will be following the events with interest. As part of on-going programmes of improvements, work has taken place over the winter months at both GC Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland, home of the Omega European Masters, and Evian Resort Golf Club, on the banks of Lake Geneva, host of the Evian Championships, as well as the work we’re engaged with at Le Golf National in Paris, in preparations for the 2018 Ryder Cup Matches.
At Crans-sur-Sierre, we are redesigning the 11th hole and 12th tees, and are now planning upgrades for the remainder of the 12th, along with holes 14, 15 and 16.
Meanwhile, at Le Golf National, we’ve overseen general
improvements and will be working to make some final changes to the course as requested by Ryder Cup Captain Thomas Bjørn after the HNA Open de France in July.
All three courses will be back in tournament condition for the events later this summer.
