The cultural capital of Greece,
Thessaloniki is the second largest
city. Lying on the Gulf of
Thessaloniki, it is a cosmopolitan
place with over three thousand
years of history and there are some
lovely Roman ruins to see as well as
some old Ottoman buildings and
fantastic Byzantine churches.
