Ideas and knowledge are ideological and political in nature, and can be used by groups or individuals to dominate or exclude others. Furthermore The idea of culture is no exception. Intercultural Education – as a field of study – is important because it offers tools and ideas that help us promote fairer, more nuanced and reflective ways of thinking about culture, and teaching intercultural development.
