How did European projects benefit me?
• I had an opportunity to travel to Finland, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey
and Slovenia from 2010- 2014 with students and colleagues form
my school and learn about different cultures
• Introduced me to leadership skills
• Gave me a flavour of teaching abroad- delivered Maths workshops
• Collaborated on Maths project with the colleague from Slovenia
(“What shapes are bridges”)
• Developed friendships with teachers abroad and visited their
houses in private arrangement
• Most importantly- built bridges –the collaboration with Slovenian
colleagues was very warm since our area was hit by war in early
nineties and political and human relationships were seriously
damaged.
