Dubai continues to expand

to Euromedia, he says that
the spectacular growth
enjoyed by the city over
the past few years is far
from slowing down.
Dubai’s list of
achievements includes
the 70,000 jobs created
across 11 business
communities. Some
22,000 people work in
the media sector best
known for its ‘Media
City’, ‘Studio City’ and
more recently
established
‘International Media
Production Zone’.
“MBC/Stargate opened
their new facility almost
two years ago, and that
growth steadily continues in
terms of jobs and space that
we are expanding into. This
growth continues along the
same trend that we have
enjoyed for the past three
years or so, and especially
in terms of on-line digital
activity. For local production
and production facilities that
also is busy. The
unfortunate political
problems in certain parts of
the region, notably Syria,
Egypt and the Lebanon, also
means that people seek a
secure and safe place to
operate from. We are
noticing increased interest
and activity coming because
of these uncertainties.”
