The adjectives all ganged upon the nouns insistent, loud, demanding inexact, their Latinate construction flashing. The pronouns lost their referents. They were dangling; lacked the stamina to follow the proportions lead in, on, into to, toward, for, or from. They were beset by passive voice and dead metaphors, conjunctions shouting But! Or And!

The active verbs were all routinely modified by adverbs that endlessly and colorlessly ran into trouble with the participles sitting on the margins knitting their brows like the gerund. Which was nowhere to be seen and was off some where.

Vagaries of Life's Beauty

by Hajira Kausar, X A

Life is a

wonderful mystery

through all its parts

Future, now and even history.

No matter what happens in life

Never let it be ruled by darkness;

As the uttermost beauty is hidden in your soul

Your orifice is not to strife

So vanish your sadness.

Offer life as it is a sacrifice,

Enjoy like as it is a game,

Accept life as it is love,

Accomplish success as life is a dream,

Face life as it is a challenge,

And live life as it happens only once.
