Science is the subject of the world. It was a enormous influence on our daily life. Modern science and technology have changed our lives in many ways. Aeroplanes, Automobiles, Satellites, Computers And Television are only a few of the scientific and technological inventions that have transformed the human life. Though the advances in science and technology wind, water currents, sea tides and nuclei of an atom is used for producing energy. The railway engine has replaced the bullock cart, the aeroplane takes us to distant places in few hours, a man can now have breakfast in Delhi, lunch in London and dinner in New York. Agricultural output has manifold as scientists have developed better varieties of plants and highly effective fertilizers. Although it is a fact that science cannot fight with fate and it often fails to defeat nature, yet it has done a lot to minimize the disastrous effects of warnings against floods, cyclones, wild fires etc which helps man to make preventive measures against these calamities. The development of antibiotics and other new drugs has helped to control many diseases. Studies in Anatomy and Physiology have led to amazing new surgical techniques and the invention of life saving machines that can do the work of such organs as lungs, kidneys and heart. The invention of Nano-Technology has made our lives more practical and convenient. The advances in telescopes, satellites and space probes provide us with the information about distant reaches of the universe. The advances in fuel science has led to the development of better fuel efficient vehicles. The invention of optic fiber cables has made internet browsing faster. Thus, science has proved to be wonderful power but we need to keep in mind that we should always use in it a way that is beneficial to mankind as inventions and discoveries help shape our views about ourselves and our place in the universe. Therefore, science and technology promises a bright future to our generations and the upcoming era but let us make sure that none shall misuse it!
