It can improve the in class relations (teacher - pupils, pupils - pupils) Every one of us can add a lot of excuses - real or fantastic - for the difficulties of an eTwinning project. We know better than anybody else the difficulties in our education systems. But… my experience as a teacher and as an eTwinning ambassador drives me to believe that a project can change our class. And of course there is always a possibility for a Professional Development Workshop. The world is changing rapidly. If we do not change too, we are going to be left behind. So, why shall I start an eTwinning project?  An eTwinning project is interdisciplinary and cross curriculum.  It is compatible with European and national Curricula.  It is easy and simple to explain its philosophy to colleagues and pupils.  It is directly connected to the daily class routine.  It has time flexibility and no bureaucracy.  It is planned by peers.  It gives the pupils the opportunity to cultivate their skills and talents.  It has cross-cultural dimension and European orientation.  It can run simultaneously with a Comenius or other educational programmes.  It helps to include in the classroom action children with learning disabilities and offending behaviour.  Multiple intelligences can be applied.  The gifted children have a great field to Why start an eTwinning project?
