Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2013 Newsletter -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Stimulating Children’s Creativity through eTwinning Projects by Dorina Marin The environment in which our children grow and develop himself should help him to improve, to cultivate his talents in school and in extracurricular activities related to his passion. The time has shown us that often a huge talent was wasted because it was grown and grown ever since childhood, when an attentive parent can help the child to do things that he likes, encourage the innate skills. Talent has no age, he just must be discovered and exploited. The gifted children have a very good memory, play with art, love scene and still outstanding results at an early age. The teacher is the artist that shape and stimulates creative thinking to every child. It depends on the further development of the children more so as our society needs people who are creative communities cope with change, adapt to all that is new, assume responsibilities, take advantage of opportunities in a creative way and find different solutions to solving current problems. I fondly remember the enthusiasm with which they participated this year my little grade students from the National College of Arts "Octav Bancila" Iasi, their first eTwinning project -EYES, the next gener@tion! - in which participated preschool and small school age students from Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and the UK. My students drew and modeled glasses from plasticine, they played the "Baba blind" striving to sit while strawberries on stalks, they drew glasses on the tablet, drew funny eyes and built custom binoculars that looked to vacation. The fanthesis and the imagination were present throughout the project, because there no were two papers as well as each of their products in its own way, original, they have given varied uses and holiday destinations were amazing. Amusement was the word of the law but still, in the fall we will achieve an educational pack, illustrated by children, to give the project a pedagogical value. eTwinning Community offers varied opportunities for creative child who has a rich emotional background, is sensitive, intense lives, have confidence, car appreciate fair enough and not satisfied with the first product of its form, it improves and refine it. 62
