One night, in one of the streets of the quiet and calm Amsterdam city, a lonely policeman watching the safety of the place, heard something. It sounded like someone running away. The policeman started to search. He walked out on the other side of the street and he saw a girl running in his direction. And behind the girl a man in a balaclava with a gun was running too. The policeman started screaming:
“Stop and put the gun down!”
Then the assassin turned into small side street. The policeman started chasing him, but then he stopped, approached to girl and asked:
“Is everything alright?”
The girl replied in panic:
“He tried to kill me!”
The policeman calmed the girl down and asked again:
“Did you get hurt?”
“I think I’ve got a broken arm...”
“So, let me take you to the hospital”.
“Okay...”
While they were going to hospital, the policeman asked:
“Did you somehow see his face?”
“Yes, when he caught me, during the fight, I took off his balaclava and saw his face for a moment”.
“What does he look like?”
“He is bald, he has a few days’ stubble and I don't clearly remember, but his eyes might be blue”.
Then she stopped talking, and they arrived to hospital.
After a while, the girl made her official testimony. Later another policeman, Kevin, talked to the policeman who had driven the girl to the hospital:
“I think she got into serious trouble”.
“Why do you think so?”
“The man she described is linked to a dangerous gang”.
He continued:
“I think she has much more information”.
“What do you mean?”
“She might be linked to the gang too, Rudd”.
