By asking our students to become more reflective learners Working Together Ethos is produced free of charge, twice a year in association with the registered charity Values Education for Life (Registration Number 1000241). The magazine can be distributed free of charge because all of the articles and most of the production is provided free of charge and I would like to sincerely thank all those who have freely contributed their knowledge, expertise and time to this and previous editions. Because of increasing distribution costs Ethos will in the future be distributed as an emagazine, which will allow us to provide blanket coverage to all schools, colleges and universities in England and Wales for considerably less than we are currently paying for regional distribution of the magazine. You may be interested to know that Values Education for Life works with young people who are experiencing serious difficulties in their lives and are in danger of educational and social exclusion: over the last twenty years the charity has successfully developed an intervention programme which has proved to be highly successful in helping most of our youngsters to succeed and move on in their lives. But even though we manage to keep our costs to a minimum the charity is always grateful to receive donations that will help it further develop its work and thereby assist greater numbers of young people. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, or wish to know more about the work that the charity undertakes, please write or email me at: David Rowse, Chair, Values Education for Life, c/o Atherstone College, Ratcliffe Road, Atherstone, Warwickshire, CV9 1LF or [email protected].
