Editorial
Let me start out by thanking everyone who is currently reading this. Our team at “Monthly Philosophy” is happy to present our June issue on the theme of 'Ethics in Politics'.
I am certain that some of our readers are ethical objectivists, meaning they believe in moral facts that are absolutely true. Other readers probably hold with ethical subjectivism; in other words, they believe that morals solely pertain to the individual, and may vary between people or across cultures. I assure all of you that no matter what you believe in, you will enjoy our issue this month. Our team has worked hard to ensure that you are presented with interesting topics to keep your mind racing even when you stop reading. From ethical issues our society is currently facing to potential future dilemmas, “Monthly Philosophy” is here to keep you updated on the progress and application of philosophical concepts all over the world.
I would also like to mention two new sections we have included this month: “Philosophy in the Media” as well as “Suggested Books”, both concerning ethical matters in politics. I would like to conclude with the hope that our magazine benefits even one reader this month. Enjoy the read!
