My name is Renee Parkes and I am the owner of Naturally Red Photography. I’m a photographer in Denver, CO. I moved here in December of 2011. I came from the small city of Grand Junction.
When I first started photography in 2006, I took photo’s of my friends. I had them hold strange props like knives, watermelons, 50 helium balloons, rope, guns or even food. Then we would shoot in strange and sometimes crazy places like a school bus, the basement of a dance club or in an abandoned motor home. I like to think outside the box and shoot in places that are strange, dirty and undesirable by your average person. With a little bit of creativity and skills you can turn any scene into something great. I know every idea has been done, you just have to find a way to change it up and make it your own. I like a challenge when it comes to themes. I like to plan things out to a T and once I start shooting there is just a natural flow that takes me where I need to go. Taking photo’s is my creative outlet and I'd love to show the world what goes on in this head of mine. I see every place/prop/person as something that I can turn into art. I am available for all types of shoots. The sky is the limit. Contact me if you want to expand your horizons.
