Wisconsin Residency
Students are considered in-state residents for admission
and tuition purposes with one of the following forms of ID:
Wisconsin Driver’s License
Current rental or lease agreement with in-state address
Payroll stub showing payment of Wisconsin income tax
Wisconsin voter registration card
1040 income tax return with in-state address
Students do not to reside in the state for a certain
period before they can be considered a resident.
Non-Resident Tuition
Non-resident (of Wisconsin) tuition is an additional $69.45
per credit in addition to program and other related fees.
Michigan/Wisconsin Reciprocity
Reciprocal tuition is $5.00 per credit in addition to regular class
fees. The following institutions participate: NWTC campuses
in Green Bay, Marinette, and Sturgeon Bay; and in Michigan:
Bay de Noc and Gogebic Community Colleges and the
counties of Gogebic, Iron, Dickenson, Delta, and Menominee.
Minnesota/Wisconsin Reciprocity
A Minnesota resident enrolled in a Wisconsin WTCS School
shall be considered a Wisconsin resident for tuition purposes.
