Stereotypes such as,“ you wear makeup to impress others.” Whether it is true to you or not, most women wear makeup for themselves. As long as it makes them feel prettier with makeup on, so be it. Women choose to wear makeup because they like it, they’ re good at it, and they highlight their favorite features and makes them feel good. People who wore a lot of makeup would often hear phrases like,“ I prefer a person with a natural face.” Whatever someone puts on their face is still their face. Some are born with dewy skin, thick lashes, full lips and natural clear skin, but most of us are not. It’ s been proven that women who wear makeup in the public are treated better than women who don’ t because they look like they take care of themselves. Makeup is not a requirement, but neither is going naked face.
It shouldn’ t matter whether you love cosmetics and own a lot of products, or maybe you just like your fresh face out in for the world. No women can win. No one needs to not wear makeup, and no one needs to wear makeup, it is the matter of how you like it. Society shouldn’ t have the power to judge you on the choices we make. Every woman should be confident with their own skin, and to accept both makeup and no makeup face. Nothing is wrong with makeup or being bare face. It is time for a change, a new change in beauty expectations so that all faces are accepted, and every time someone tells a woman they don’ t need to wear makeup, they say“ I know.”
