He envisions expanding the model beyond Florida, using the platform to amplify untold stories from across the country. Tequila is next, with a line inspired by San Lorenzo, Mexico, the first known Black settlement in the region. This is another example of Harvey’ s global approach to cultural storytelling through spirits.“ There are so many great stories out there,” he said.“ If I can help the right people and support the right opportunities, I’ m always open to that.”
Harvey’ s commitment to community impact is shaped by both entrepreneurship and personal resilience. Early in his career, he built a highly successful spirits brand only to lose everything after his business partner was implicated in a Ponzi scheme. He and his family went from an 11,000-square foot home to a two-room hotel. Rebuilding from scratch grounded his sense of purpose, particularly in how he supports others.“ Most people will go through life and never be remembered beyond their family and friends,” he reflected.“ But when you do something to help someone else, they will tell your story in perpetuity. You’ ll never be forgotten.”
