WHISTLING THORNS CELEBRATES A BULL RUN OF SALES
Astute investors have voted, with their ZAR, Serengeti Estates' Whistling Thorns apartments as among eastern
Johannesburg’s most desirable investments. All 188 units have sold out, with the first 90 units took transfer in
December 2018, three months ahead of the complete scheme being handed over, at the end of March.
Rental options are now available, says director of sales John Hart, starting at R13,500
per month for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, and R17,000 per month for a three-
bedroom, two-bathroom unit. ‘The apartments are ideal for singles and professionals
as well as young families. For investors, our goal is to ensure that they are able to realise
excellent returns,’ says Hart.
Launched in 2017, with prices starting at R1.69 million, The Whistling Thorns is laid out
over three different types of units, located on the second fairway of the new 18-hole par
3 Championship golf course at the idyllic Serengeti Estates in upmarket Kempton Park.
The latest apartment scheme offering launched at Serengeti Estates, also overlooking
the same golf course, is The Lakes, superior north-facing apartments that have been
designed and finished to the highest standard, including imported tiles, Smeg
appliances and white Caesarstone tops.
In this apartment development there are three property selections, including the option
