I N V E S T Who we are Sonic Telecoms is a wireless and fibre internet service provider (ISP) offering affordable high-speed connectivity solutions to business users, home users and other carriers. We are fully compliant, holding an ICASA electronic communications service license (ECNS). We have years of experience, and are experts in providing fast, reliable and affordable turnkey solutions to business parks, residential estates, cluster developments and apartment blocks. Our vision is to connect everybody in South Africa, no matter where they live or work. We aim to provide our customers with affordable high-speed connectivity by consolidating ISPs all over South Africa in order to provide a single national fibre and wireless broadband service. Sonic Telecoms is part of the Hero Alliance, which was started in January 2014, and now boasts 33 acquisitions, 22 regional partners and two national VOIP and Layer-Two providers. We built our independent network countrywide with our specialised NOC (network operations centre) and dedicated support. We have the combination of skill, approach and experience, and are uniquely qualified to meet your need for improved network services. What we do By implementing a robust fibre optic network, we can offer our clients: • access to high-speed internet connectivity – with speeds from 5Mbps to 100Mbps – and a vast selection of packages, both capped and uncapped • IP-based intercom systems – for communications within the estate, or to make inexpensive external calls. & d e v e l O P • partner with all major carriers to ensure that our clients’ preferred content gets delivered at rapid speed • have international failover capacity with multiple undersea cables and other local carriers • ensure that our robust network always follows the shortest route • commit to reliable support to ensure that our customers are always online and satisfied • build our network with carrier grade equipment • maintain low latency, both local and internationally. How to make it happen All we need to get your estate, building or precinct connected with super-fast fibre is: • permission from the body corporate, HOA or landlord to allow Sonic to install the infrastructure into the building and/or to the apartments • a secure vented space of approximately one cubic meter to which we can have 24/7 access to ensure uninterrupted service • an electricity supply. We offer a range of financing options, including: • a no-cost option in which Sonic Telecoms requires only permission from the body corporate to make services available to residents • a one-off cash purchase in which the body corporate pays for the network infrastructure, and maintains ownership • a minimum uptake option, in which Sonic Telecoms will make the service available based on a minimum uptake – and Sonic will retain ownership. On completion of the fibre infrastructure, clients can choose from a host of other IP services to future-proof the property. These include, but are not limited to, CCTV cameras (local and remote viewing), access control, and DStv over fibre. O Key to our customer strategy is to: • differentiate through investing in our networks • strive to build and maintain high-quality infrastructure in all our operations, as the foundation for reliable voice and data services • deliver modern networks to ensure that we keep up with advances in technology. How we do it In order to ensure an exceptional user experience for all our customers, we: • proactively monitor for network degradation relating to both software and hardware on a 24/7 basis sonictelecoms.co.za
