Mountain biking and walking trails are
hugely popular with many residents who
enjoy an outdoor lifestyle. The estate
even hosts its very own annual bike
challenge, the Woodland Hills Mountain
Bike Challenge. The estate is hosting
its second race in October, and a good
majority of the 45km route will run over
estate land, and bikers can enter different
race lengths depending on their fitness
level.
The estate boasts a community centre
that includes a function hall, fitted
kitchen and ablution facilities, as well as
a lapa complete with built-in braai and
nearby jungle gym. These facilities are
popular and used regularly by residents
for small functions and the venue is also

used for the annual general meeting of
the Homeowners’ Association.

importance and residents can rest

place. Strategic points within the estate
