A Blossoming Estate in the City of Roses
Woodland Hills Wildlife Estate was
conceptualised 15 years ago and was
initially intended to be a golf estate. The
developer, however, decided to adopt the
idea of a wildlife estate instead, much to
the delight of its residents today.
The first secure residential estate of its kind
in the Free State perfectly marries luxurious
estate living within a natural environment.
The popularity of the estate is perfectly
illustrated through its statistics; stands first
went on sale on 20 October 2003 and 100
were already sold by the end of that year.
There are many different living options
available at this estate. Twenty-four
different sectional title complexes, each
with its own unique style, offers housing
for the smaller family, whilst Hillandale
Lifestyle Village provides 146 live-in units for
the over 50, with facilities such as a heated
swimming pool, clubhouse and bowling
greens. A privately owned hospital directly
adjacent to the village, open to residents
and the public, provides health and frail
