The entire process is manifested into a sensation, which, unless you’re closely in tune with your body, might not be felt. This is a rather difficult notion to comprehend due to the variety of healing it promotes, almost immediately. Estate Living visited TRACE therapy to consider what they could do to help alleviate stress and insomnia. TRACE, or Therapeutic Relief Amplified C-fibre Energy Therapy, combines the use of Bemer and Scemer machines and is a practice that utilises energetic movement, electromagnetic pulses and frequency to assist the body in healing itself. As a rather apt combination of scientific and ‘alternative’ healing practices, the therapy cures a variety of illnesses, injuries and defects – both acute and chronic. TRACE uses touch therapy, and an experienced therapist at first feels the different vibrations in the client’s body. Different tissues have different frequencies and, therefore, different vibration rates, and this enables the therapist to distinguish between the different frequencies and identify which tissueisinneedofrepair.Thebio-magnetic pulsations from the therapist’s hands fall within the same frequency range as brainwaves and these frequencies are able to stimulate healing in any part of the body. Scenar (Self-Controlled Enego Neuro Adaptive Regulator) works by stimulating the nervous system with constantly varying signals known as ‘electrical impulses’. These operate in the same way that our natural nerve fibres react when coping with the stress of pain or illness. Scenar impulses provide a boost to the nervous system, generating neuropeptides (the body’s internal pharmacy) to speed up the recovery process. BEMER (Bio-Electro-Magnetic Energy Regulation) increases the electromagnetic energy of all the cells as well as improving the circulation and oxygenation of tissues. This encourages each cell in the body to function optimally and looks for correct metabolic and energetic abnormalities. Interestingly, the physiological effects of BEMER treatment are similar to the benefits of exercise.
