THE COMEBACK QUEEN: You cannot have a list of top musical achievement without Adele featuring
somewhere. The extraordinary Brit decimated all records with the release of Hello, her first single in three
years earlier this year. In true Adele style, it is a thumping punch of emotion and has earned a combined
total of 333 000 sales during its first week, making it the UK’s biggest No. 1 single in three years. It also
broke the online streaming record, with 7.32 million plays —beating previous holder Justin Bieber, whose
“What Do You Mean" earned 3.87 million streams in a week. Here the song here:
THE ONE TO WATCH: Venda born and now Cape Town based King Lutendo
has been making music for over five years. The twenty three year old uses his
experiences in visual communications as an illustrator and graphic designer to
produce his own videos, lyrics and artwork that accompanies his music and
received his first play radio debut in 2013 on mainstream radio, where he was
the only independent artist in the top five, coming in at number three. King
Lutendo’s most recent single, Viva la Fuego, which means Long Live the Flame
in Spanish, has recently caught the eye of German based dubster producer,
Johan de Kock, who will be remixing the single for his own album. A small town
