Lauranell ’ s dōTERRA ^® business started without help from the Internet , which seems nearly impossible now . “ When I started , I had no computer — so no email or social media .” Instead of sending Instagram messages or creating Facebook events , Lauranell says her first year was just “ word of mouth and lots of classes anywhere I could teach .”

But Lauranell knew she had to keep going . “ I couldn ’ t help but tell everyone about my personal experiences and my love of these products .” As she worked and pushed forward , she started seeing success . “ My friends and builders saw me just making things happen , and I kept telling them if I can , you can .”

As she moved forward , Lauranell learned new ways to grow her business . “ I learned little by little about Facebook and other social media platforms . Team support was so powerful . I listened a lot , then I ran with it .”

No journey is without challenges , but Lauranell didn ’ t let anything slow her down . “ Don ’ t allow the ever-present , negative head talk win . Kick it to the curb and flip it to be positive .” Every time negative thoughts creep in , Lauranell tells herself , “ You can do anything you put your mind to , because you already have .”

Her persistence has paid off . “ I ’ ve earned four Incentive Trips . I was top 200 in Prime Wellness Club . I ’ ve finished Diamond Club three times .”* Lauranell knows her success stems from her passion for dōTERRA . “ Teaching , sharing , and enrolling light me up . I get so excited sharing it just rolls out of me . I feel my audience leaning in and hanging on . I just love teaching .”

As Lauranell looks back at her experiences with her dōTERRA business , one of her biggest takeaways is rolling with the punches . “ Life can be crazy at times . There are all kinds of emotions flowing , but through it all I ’ ve found staying true and strong and showing up is what ’ s key . My primary strength is adaptability , and through my challenges I ’ ve learned I can adapt , turn , and twist as necessary .”
