1969. Originally the company was found-
ed as a manufacturing company special-
izing in custom die-cutting. We serviced
a variety of industries from electronics
to automotive. Early in the company’s
history we purchased a small company
that made chalkboard erasers from a
man who was retiring. That is how we
started manufacturing for the education-
al market.

I worked at a pub.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE
EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTS BUSINESS?
I joined the company in 1981 knowing
nothing about educational products.
WHAT MAKES YOUR COMPANY
UNIQUE?
We develop and manufacture almost
everything we sell in our factories. One
is in Canada and the other is in South
Carolina. We are a very self- contained
company.
