I’m Steve and I'm the permanent guest blogger at Essentially Pop. I live in a village called Alford ( home of Emeli Sande & birthplace of the Aberdeen Angus cow ) in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
I currently work in the IT industry as: IT Productivity Coach ( they say ) Service Delivery ( they say ) Desktop Support ( they say ) IT Ninja ( I say )
I just want to share my musical thoughts and opinions with whoever wants to listen.

I'm Rachel, I currently live in East London, and I'm an illustrator in training and occasional writer.
Illustration is my passion, and I draw everything from cartoon chihuahuas to urban cityscapes. Like many of the Essentially Pop team I'm a big Jedward fan, and am responsible for the comic series Jedward's Little Adventure, which has been lucky enough to receive worldwide acclaim.
I've been writing since my teens, and writing for entertainment blogs on the internet since mid 2013, having written for Popwrapped before being invited to join Essentially Pop. I wrote for local city guides a few years ago, and spent most of my time at university writing reviews for our student cinema's programmes.
When I'm not busy working or drawing, I can usually be found exploring central London, phone camera in hand, or dancing round my kitchen to Taylor Swift.
